THE SHORT ANSWER

You do not need to understand every part of your insurance before starting. It helps to recognise four different things: signing in, adding policies, sharing with someone and giving support access. They are not a single choice.

This guide shows where the choices are. Read the exact text in approval steps, the privacy policy and terms of use when relevant to you. This guide does not replace those documents or change their content. [1][2]

Keep these points in mind

  • BankID shows who is signing in or approving.
  • Collection and sharing have separate steps.
  • Find access and withdrawal under Sharing & permissions.

STEP BY STEP

How to check your cover

  1. Check what you are approving

Start from Forsio's own website and read what the BankID app shows. Use your own BankID. Do not disclose the security code or approve an unexpected request from someone contacting you.

Signing in identifies you. A later signing step may concern a particular instruction or consent. Read the recipient and purpose in the step shown instead of assuming every use of BankID means the same thing.

  2. Choose which documents to add

Under Insurers & documents, choose which insurance information to add. When collection requires approval, you can read the current instruction and follow the insurer-specific steps shown. A policy can also be added through the document flow.

An instruction to read and collect information is not an instruction to buy, cancel or change insurance. Check the result in your overview afterwards. Missing or unclear documents may need adding or clarification.

  3. Read separate choices when they become relevant

If documents contain sensitive information, a separate approval step may be needed before including them. Follow the explanation in the app. Information about children has particular steps for a parent or guardian.

Sharing with another person or a named organisation is a different choice from having your own overview. Read who gets access, which information it concerns and how to withdraw. A name appearing in a policy letter does not by itself give anyone access to your account.

  4. Find the controls after getting started

Open Sharing & permissions to review and change each access separately. Support access is managed there too. If you choose it, you can see what support may read and when access ends. Support access can be withdrawn separately.

Your account contains contact details and preferences such as Renewal reminders. Check that a change is saved. Turning an email reminder off is not the same as withdrawing sharing or ending the service.

Ending Forsio does not cancel an insurance policy

Read about export and erasure requests through the privacy feature linked from Sharing & permissions. Read what a choice removes and which steps follow before confirming. It may be a different process from stopping sharing with one person.

Withdrawn permission or deleted information in Forsio does not change the agreement with the insurer. Contact the insurer if you want to change the insurance itself. Keep the original documents you need somewhere you control.

Read the documents for the right service

My Forsio's privacy policy describes information handling in the product. The terms of use concern the service, while a separate document concerns sensitive information. Use the links in the app and at the relevant step. The website's cookie choice is separate.

The Swedish version governs and English is a translation. Choosing English in the interface does not automatically translate the insurer's original documents. You can contact Forsio before continuing if wording or a choice is unclear.

Fictional example

Three choices with different meanings.

Sam returns to My Forsio to check a detail.

Signs in with BankID
Shows that it is Sam
Reads a collection instruction
Concerns the information stated there
Changes Renewal reminders
Changes the email choice, not the policy

The same person makes several separate choices. None of these examples is a cancellation or a new insurance policy.

Common questions

Are these the same terms as on the marketing website?

No. The product's privacy policy and terms of use concern My Forsio. The marketing website has its own texts about the website and its cookies. Follow the product links to read about your account and insurance information.

Do I have to share with someone to have my own overview?

Sharing is a separate choice. Your own overview and a particular recipient's access are not the same permission. Read which recipients are named in the flow you use.

Can support change my insurance agreement?

Support access in Forsio does not give an instruction to change an agreement with an insurer. Check the scope shown before granting access, and contact the insurer if you want to change the insurance itself.
